San Diego based INDUS Technology, Inc. today announced that James B. Lasswell has joined INDUS to lead its efforts in developing and managing Navy business. Lasswell was formerly President of Ogden Corporation (Fortune 100 company) subsidiaries Applied Data Technology, Inc. (ADTI) and Ogden Government Services (OGSC). Lasswell stated that he is "excited with the challenge of helping INDUS grow in this interesting defense climate. I hope to attract a superior management team for INDUS like those who have assisted me in leading Ogden Government Services and ADTI."

Lasswell successfully led the development of Ogden's Engineering business unit and has most recently presided over the divestiture of the company's Defense businesses. In March he completed the divestiture of the last of Ogden's Defense Group with the sale of San Diego based ADTI. Having managed a number of business units in San Diego, Washington, DC, Norfolk VA and Charleston SC, he will lead INDUS' strategic development and growth into new Navy/DoD markets.

INDUS has recently expanded its business base in support of the SPAWAR Program Management Team Omnibus (PMTO) contract and in February moved into offices in Old Town San Diego and Ridgecrest, CA. INDUS' President & CEO, Dr. K. P.
