San Diego based INDUS Technology, Inc. today announced that it has received a sole-source 8(a) set aside contract award from the GovWorks Federal Acquisition Center in Herndon, VA.

GovWorks is a Franchise Fund established by Congress and OMB to offer administrative services for procurement throughout Federal agencies. As a Federal acquisition center, GovWorks delivers efficiently, quickly and is cost effective. Their role is to provide the Federal manager with an innovative solution to their buying needs.

INDUS will be responsible for providing contract management and invoice support services. The contract will have a total not to exceed value of $3 Million and will run for a period of five years. Dr. Kathleen Sridhar, President and CEO of INDUS, commented, “INDUS is a very strong engineering and financial management house, and the award of this [our second] contract in the specialized area of Contractual Management Support has established this discipline as a core strength of the Company.
