San Diego based INDUS Technology,
Inc. and subcontractor Haulsey Engineering, Inc. announced today
that they have received a contract award from Commander Naval Air
Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (COMNAVAIRPAC) at NAS North Island.
COMNAVAIRPAC is the direct representative
of and the principal advisor to the Commander in Chief, U.S. Pacific
Fleet for the operation, support and administration of naval aviation
in the Pacific. COMNAVAIRPAC's mission is to support the fleet
by providing combat ready Aviation Forces which are fully trained,
properly manned, interoperable, well maintained and supported.
The INDUS Team will provide logistics
support to augment Support Equipment Resource Management Information
System (SERMIS) functions to the fleet. SERMIS is an integral component
of the newly instituted Support Management System (SEMS). INDUS
Team functions will include service to the fleet in areas of employment/IMRL
development, transaction input analysis, asset redistribution,
and SERMIS product equipment Local Asset Management System (LAMS)
support.
The contract will have a total not
to exceed value of $1.8 Million and will run for a period of two
years. Dr. Kathleen Sridhar, President and CEO of INDUS, commented, “This

support to Fleet Operations, especially at such a critical time
for our military.”
