INDUS Technology, Inc. announces the promotion and appointments of Mr. Jon Wakefield as Vice President of SPAWAR Operations, Mr. Ron File as Vice President of Business Development and the recruitment of Mr. Steve Chiodini as Vice President of Eastern Operations.

Jon Wakefield joined INDUS in its infancy in August of 2001 as a Senior Program Manager and has been a significant leader in growing SPAWAR Operations from 15 to over 45 employees to date. Jon will lead the recently won SPAWAR Major Services Acquisition contracts efforts leading the prestigious team of Booz Allen Hamilton, CACI, Lockheed Martin, ASC, DCS, Antin Engineering, ComGlobal Systems and G2 Software.

Ron File came to INDUS in July of 2003 as a Business Development Director and brought a wide range of business development and strategic planning experience, quickly improving our business development processes and proposal efforts leading to several very significant contract wins. Ron’s strategic business experience with emerging companies, both large and small, will allow Jim Lasswell, President and CEO, the freedom to manage the business at a higher level nationwide.

Steve Chiodini recently joined INDUS from General Dynamics and is charged with leading our vibrant Eastern Region of almost one-half of the INDUS team Nationwide. Based in Washington DC he manages five important contracts and INDUS’ people in the DC, Charleston, SC and Norfolk, VA areas and is charged with growing our presence in our current areas as well as in new business areas. Steve brings to INDUS superior skills in Business Development, Intelligence and Information Technology (one of INDUS’ core competencies).

INDUS has done an incredible job of managing its growth and diversifying and with a small team of management resources.
