INDUS Announces NECC DTS Award
San Diego, CA, 1 July 2019: INDUS Technology, Inc. (INDUS) a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Government Support Services provider, received notice of task order award from the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) to support the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC), NECC Pacific (NECCPAC) and subordinate commands.
This task order, awarded on 27 June 2019, allows for $8,289,225. over 1 base year and 4 – 1 year options to provide on-site Defense Travel System (DTS) and related support services that include analysis, assistance and training to commands at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek- Fort Story (JEBLCFS), VA; Yorktown, VA; Gulfport, MS; Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH), HI; Port Hueneme, CA; San Diego, CA, and various other locations.
The NECC serves as the single functional command for the Navy’s expeditionary forces and as central management for the readiness, resources, staffing, training and equipping of those forces. They consolidate, align, and integrate diverse expeditionary practices, procedures, requirements, and logistics in the battle space. As a command element and force provider for integrated maritime expeditionary missions, to include waterborne and shore anti-terrorism, force protection, theatre security cooperation and engagement and humanitarian assistance/disaster relief contingencies, upon request, NECC also supplements Coast Guard homeland security requirements while training and equipping forces to support mission requirements.
