Tricia Mercer

Tricia Mercer is the chief people officer at INDUS where she is accountable for talent acquisition, human resources, security, facilities, information technology and administration teams. Her primary focus is to provide a forward-thinking approach to company culture and talent management, resulting in increased employee satisfaction and higher retention. Tricia’s energy is targeted on understanding the needs and desires of employee owners, recruiting and retaining top talent, and helping to maintain the INDUS culture as the company continues to grow.

Tricia has over 20 years of defense industry experience and has supported C4I systems as an information systems and cybersecurity engineer prior to transitioning into a leadership role where she discovered her passion and niche.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems from Trine University in Angola, Indiana. In addition, she has completed a yearlong Professional Coaching Training with Accomplishment Coaching, Mediation Training with the National Conflict Resolution Center, and Leadership and Negotiation Training through Harvard Business Law School. Mercer also serves as a Board of Director Member for San Diego Cyber Center of Excellence (CCOE) and United Way of San Diego County.
